Department of Chemical Technology North Maharashtra University

North Maharashtra University has established the University Department of Chemical Technology with a view to impart technical education in the field of Chemical Technology to students in the university area. The main purpose of these courses is to fulfill the growing demand of Chemical Technologists in the industry and to develop the entrepreneurs to start their industrial units. Jalgaon as well as Dhule industrial area developed ones. Also in recent years the neighboring districts viz. Aurangabad and Nasik have witnessed a substantial industrial development. With the advent of new liberalization measures declared by the Government of India, it is very much likly that Maharashtra state in general as above mentioned districts in Particular will be in need of technical manpower.

For the industrial development of Jalgaon, Dhule and Nandurbar districts, the Govt. of Maharashtra has implemented various schemes of entrepreneurship development as such the outgoing student of Department can avail of the facilities granted by the state Government and Start their own industrial unit
