Finolex Academy of Management and Technology’s College of Engineering

The Hope Foundation's Education Division commenced with the establishment of the Finolex Academy Of Management & Technology (FAMT) which is the first Engineering College at Ratnagiri on the west coast of Maharashtra. The College has been set up on 140,000 sq ft. of land located in M.I.D.C. Mirjole, Ratnagiri and is offering educational opportunities since 1996 to the students of this backward region.

The Finolex Academy of Management & Technology is affiliated to the University of Mumbai. It has also obtainedthe approval of the All India Council of Technical Education (AICTE) and offers four-year degree courses in Bachelor of Engineering in Electronics, Mechanical and Electrical Engineering. The Academy has also received approval from AICTE and Government of Maharashtra to start courses in Information Technology, Chemical & Automobile Engineering at the Academy. Established with an investment of Rs. 10 crores, the Academy boasts of well-equipped classrooms and science laboratories, a library, workshops, residential quarters for the Director and staff and hostel facilities for the students. The total strength of the Academy is around 1300 students for the current academic year.
