G.V. Acharya Institute of Engineering and Technology

Leela Education Society is a registered Trust established in 2006 by Prof. Manjunath V. Acharya, his family and friends. It was a culmination of sorts for the shared dreams and long-held beliefs of the Trustees as embodied in the Vision, yet a harbinger of a new beginning. The ‘society of teachers’ then started in right earnest the process of establishing their first Institution. The immense goodwill in the academic circles saw the coming together of Professors, Teachers and Students- all volunteering, chipping in and giving it their all. The dynamic leadership and team building ability of Prof. Acharya along with the tireless efforts of everyone involved has today seen the birth of the first of, as everyone believes, many institutions of the Society.

To establish GVAIET and GVAP as a premier institutes, inculcating in all a desire for constant achievement and pursuit of perfection, while emphasizing building inner strength, intellect and character to meet all challenges with courage and fortitude, yet tempered by empathy for the environment and weaker sections of society.

In line with the objectives of GVAIET and GVAP the faculty comprises of a team of carefully selected and highly committed and motivated teachers. That most of the teachers have worked with and share the Vision of the management, ensures a focused approach in fulfilling stated Mission. LES encourages its staff to make use of modern educational aids and methodologies to give of their best to the students. Our faculty members meet the highest level of professional excellence in their respective fields of specialization. That apart, distinguished personalities from industries are planned to be invited on a regular basis as Guest Lecturers, so that the students would be made aware of the expectations of the corporate world, thus bridging the academy-industry gap
