Mookambigai College of Engineering

Our History

Founded in  1985, the Mookambigai College of Engineering is an offspring of Sri  Mariamman Educational, Health and Charitable Trust, Woriyur, Tiruchirappalli. The Management consisting of a team of progressive-minded and benevolent trustees, has at its helm, the farsighted and enthusiastic President Thiru S. Subramaniam. The trust has another technical institution, Srinivasa Polytechnic College under its management, at the same campus. Ours is  a Telugu Minority  Institution. Since  inception, the Mookambigai College of Engineering has been treading a path of steady and sustained growth and achievements. Today this institution is an epitome of excellence, bearing testimony to the high educational standards, deep student-faculty involvement and a continuous industry-institution-society interaction as conceived by the Chairman of the institution. The departments have been accredited by National Board of Accreditation, AICTE .Presently the alumni of the college, exceeding 3500, can be spotted all over the world, who provide ample testimony to the credentials of this institution.
